Slot MicroSD dan Micro SIM card ditempatkan didalam penutup belakang pada bagian atas Fonepad. Penempatan tersebut semakin menegaskan desain Fonepad 7" yang secara keseluruhan menjadi bagaikan tablet kelas premium.
ASUS Fonepad menggunakan layar 7 Inci mendukung (hingga 10 finger multi-touch) resolusi HD (1280 x 800) dengan panel IPS membuat tampilannya tetap cerah dan tajam meski dilihat hingga sudut 170 derajat. Pada bagian depan terdapat kamera 1.2MP yang bisa anda gunakan untuk melakukan panggilan video. Dan dibagian belakang disematkan kamera 3MP dengan auto focus yang dapat digunakan untuk merekam video dengan resolusi HD 720p.

Untuk sistem operasi, ASUS Fonepad menggunakan Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) yang tertanam prosesor Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington dan GPU PowerVR SGX540. Prosesor tersebut cukup kuat untuk melakukan beberapa tugas bahkan saat memainkan game HD.
